The Municipality of Shumen,
on the initiative of
25 Kindergarten “Bratya Grimm”, organises
on 26th March 2010.
V International Children Theatre Festival on
European Classical Tales “Bratya Grimm”
from and for children
between 3 and 8 years old.
The Festival events will be divided as follow:
1. “Classical European Tales”,
including works of European and national important narrators
2.Tales of Brothers Grimm.

And an international round table about
“ Classical tales in aid of teacher”
which will take place on 25th March 2010 from 9.30 to 15.30

During the Festival by idea of
2 SOU “ Emilian Stanev”, in Sofia and
in cooperation with the festival organizers will be set up
the exposition
“Big books with classical tales”.






Features of the event

1) The working languages are Bulgarian, Russian and English.
2) By February 19th 2010 your application form will be sent by email or by post to the addresses below.
3) By the date above CD or DVD recording the exhibition will be received. The only condition is that they will not hold up more than 15 minutes. There is no limitation in genre and style. Enclose, moreover, the summary of exhibition written in English and not composed of more than 4-5 sentences.
4) If you want to participate with a report, please send it to the electronic address below. This report must be: A4 size, headline written in Times New Roman 16 bold, the name of the writer must be in the centre written in Times New Roman 14, the text will be in Times New Roman 14, in all the pages the field must be 2 cm, the summary in English under the headline must be composed of 3-5 sentences. No more than 4 pages.
5) If you want to participate to the exposition with “ a big book”, do it by hand with any materials. Book must be not smaller of 50 /80 cm and with any form and style. They will be sent to the festival organizers by 10 March 2010 and they must have as a title the name of the person who made it, the age, the teachers’ names and the address.
6) All participants will receive a certificate of attendance, a plate and souvenirs of participation. Sponsors and organisations will give additional prizes.

During the Festival, before lunch, will be played live three scenes, after lunch in 5 kindergartens and schools will be shown records.
You can participate with a record and be present, or accompany children who show theirs exhibitions. It’s possible also to participate by correspondence through the record. All participants will receive a DVD compilation with all plays that have participated in the event. You will be pay it at the end of the festival. The price will be fix by the number of records in the set (between 12 and 16 euro). The organizers will take in charge the cost of a part of food. The cost of travel and stay will be at the expense of the participants. The whole programme will be given at the arrival in Shumen.
